Privacy Policy
Effective October 1, 2026
ChannelGraph is revenue attribution for creators. It shows a creator which of their content earns money. This policy says what we collect, why, and how to reach us about it. ChannelGraph is operated by ChannelGraph LLC.
It covers two groups of people. Creators hold ChannelGraph accounts. Audiences are the people who click a creator's links or join their mailing list. We collect different things from each, so this policy addresses them separately.
If you are in a creator's audience
A creator uses ChannelGraph links in their video descriptions and emails. When you click one, we redirect you to the destination and record the click. A click record contains the time, the link, your IP address, your browser's user agent, the referring page, your approximate location (country, region, and city), an identifier we compute from your IP address and user agent, and any parameters the sending platform put on the URL. The identifier lets us connect a click to a later signup or purchase. When you join a creator's mailing list or buy from them, their email or commerce platform notifies us, and we record your email address with the signup or purchase.
We collect this on the creator's behalf, and only that creator can see it. We use it for one thing: to show the creator which of their content led to signups and sales. We do not build profiles of you across creators. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising. The redirect sets no cookies.
To see, correct, or delete this data, contact the creator whose link you clicked, or email us at privacy@channelgraph.io.
If you are a creator
Your account. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from your Google account.
Connected accounts. ChannelGraph works by connecting to the platforms you already use, such as your video channel, your mailing list, and your store. You choose which to connect, and we access each one only with your permission. From them we receive your content and its performance figures, and the signups and sales your content led to. For each signup or sale, that is the person's email address and what they bought, with the amount and date. Each platform's own privacy policy governs the data it holds.
What we compute. We join clicks, signups, and purchases into journeys, and credit revenue back to your content. These records are yours, scoped to your workspace, and visible to nobody else.
ChannelGraph uses YouTube API Services
Connecting a YouTube channel uses YouTube API Services. By connecting one, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. The Google Privacy Policy describes how Google handles your data.
ChannelGraph's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We access your channel, video catalog, and performance and audience analytics. When you approve a change, we update the selected video's description or comment. We access this data to show you your own catalog and audience figures next to the revenue your content earned. The service providers listed below process it as part of running ChannelGraph. Beyond that, we do not share YouTube API data with anyone, and we do not use it for advertising.
You can revoke ChannelGraph's access to your Google account at any time at Google security settings. When you disconnect a channel or revoke access, we delete the data we obtained through the grant.
Who we share data with
We never sell data. We share it with three kinds of parties:
- Service providers. Cloudflare serves our links and network traffic. OVHcloud hosts our servers, in the United States. Sentry provides error monitoring; when something in ChannelGraph fails, the error report can include your IP address and, if you are signed in, your account email, so we can find and fix what broke for you. PostHog provides product analytics. It receives your usage of our website and app, your device and browser information, and your IP address. If you are signed in, it also receives your account email. It uses cookies.
- The platforms you connect. When you approve a change, we write tracked links to a video description or comment at YouTube. We make API calls to the platforms you connected, as directed by you.
- Legal requirements. We disclose data if the law requires it.
How we protect data
We use encryption and access controls to protect personal data and Google user data. We encrypt data transmitted over public and inter-server networks. We encrypt OAuth access and refresh tokens at rest. We isolate the database on a private encrypted network. We require authenticated access. We restrict each workspace's data to its authorized members. We limit administrative access to authorized personnel.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your data in Account settings. You can also request deletion at privacy@channelgraph.io. Deletion starts as soon as possible and completes within seven calendar days.
Deleting your ChannelGraph account does not delete your data from connected platforms. Use each platform to delete your data there.
When a connected account's access ends, whether you disconnect it or revoke it at the provider, we delete the data that access gave us.
